FRIDAY NIGHTCAP, April 13, 10p-2a: B.Y.O. Vinyl Dance Party this Friday, Apr. 13th with Mike Utley aka 2-4-8. All the dance records are coming out from all genres. Dancers are welcome to bring their own favorite dance records…if they are dance worthy we will play them! No Cover.
SATURDAY NIGHTCAP, April 14, 10p-2a: Come and join the
Parranderos Latin Combo at Americana as they make their salsa entertainment debut at Des Moines’ newest urban restaurant and lounge. Come and join us for music and salsa dancing. No cover charge. Make some new friends and sample the food and drinks.
SATURDAY BRUNCH to benefit the Junior League, Saturday, April 14, 10a-2:30p: You might have noticed, but we’ve started our not-for-profit brunches on Saturdays. Each Saturday, Americana will donate 10% of brunch proceeds to a different organization. This Saturday, we’re featuring the Junior League. All you have to do is let your server know that you want us to donate 10% of your bill to the Junior League and we’ll do that. To have your organization featured in the NFP Brunch series, email our events manager at eventsmanager@americanadsm.com.
SUNDAY MAD MEN PARTY, Sunday, April 15, 7:30p-10p: We’ve been having some great times at Des Moines’ only Mad Men viewing party at Americana. Yep, that means $5 Americana cocktails, $5 tapas and $4 wines to go along with Joan, Pete, Betty, Peggy and Don. Join us at the bar and lounge on Sunday nights from 7:00-10 when Mad Men is on TV and help us celebrate the cocktail culture’s number one friend.
